Empowerment Personified

Bongo Foundation has purposed to identify existing gaps in the provision of education within public primary and secondary schools with the aim of addressing any resource deficits that may alleviate challenges. Involve the local communities in identifying bright and needy students requiring bursary and other assistance to pursue their dreams.

Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given, that separates one person from another.

Bongo Foundation has donated computers, books to public primary and secondary schools to enhance provision of quality education to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Some of the beneficiary schools are Kianjagi Primary School, Chief Mbogori Girls High School, Kiriani Primary School and Makuri Primary School.
