Any society that fails to harness the energy & creativity of its women is at a huge disadvantage in the modern world.

Bongo Foundation is committed to increasing the degree of autonomy and self-determination in people and in communities in order to enable them to represent their interests in a responsible and self-determined way, acting on their own authority. Further, we have earmarked interventions that aim to invest in women's economic empowerment which sets a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication and inclusive economic growth.
