Ngeru Ganga Ward, hope was not just spoken it was shared, one household at a time. For many widowers in this community, daily life comes with quiet struggles providing, cooking and caring for their families while carrying the weight of loss. But today, that burden was eased in a meaningful way.

Through the support of Bongo Foundation, energy-saving jikos were handed over simple yet powerful tools that will reduce fuel costs, save time and restore dignity in everyday living.

What makes this initiative even more powerful is its story of empowerment. These jikos were carefully made by a dedicated PWD group in Mbogori, Chogoria Ward turning skill into opportunity, and opportunity into impact. This is a cycle of transformation: empowering one group while uplifting another.
