During a visit to Mwimbi Ward, Bongo Foundation Patron, Lawrence Gitonga, met Michael a survivor of the Samburu gunshot attack whose life was forever changed in a moment. Despite the challenges he faces, Michael’s resilience tells a powerful story of courage and hope.

On this day, the Foundation was honoured to offer Michael a wheelchair, restoring not just mobility, but dignity, independence, and a renewed sense of possibility.
